School's out for WINTER

I hope everyone has a fabulous break! The dorms officially closed yesterday at seven PM!
They do not open again till January 11th at nine AM. You will not be allowed to enter the halls until that time, so don't even bother trying. Ha.... For t
hose of you who know me... know how ironic this is.. Seeing as how my flight gets in at 5:30 AM and I will be at school by 6:30 Am that day... WHAT am I supposed to do till nine in the morning??? Sit outside in the snow? Um, no thank you. I'm getting in... Somehow. I am not sure yet though how exactly I will accomplish this task.

Well it has been a good semester you guys. I hope everyone remembers that we are having a semi formal in February, so bring back that dress that you want to wear! It is going to be located at the Lenox Hotel.
Dancing is fun! Look at Laura dancing! Doesn't this picture just make you want to go to the semi formal? I think it does!!

Also remember to support the mens volleyball team when you come back in January!
Good bye for now! (I most likely will not be continuing this blog next semester because my class is over..... But I hope it was enjoyed and helpful to you over the past three weeks!)

And The Winner is...

Me? Haha.
Well, considering not that  many people actually showed up.... Maybe I am not actually that good at Rock Paper Scissors, but somehow I managed to win the fabulous competition. Haha. I really believe that more people need to show up to our schools events and our RA's programs. Honestly, they aren't bad and the more the merrier, right?

And on that note...

Help support our schools fashion club! They are still selling raffle tickets and the prize is two tickets to the Celtics game in March! You can pay two dollars, I
believe, for 5 tickets, 5 dollars for ten tickets or ten dollars for an arms length of tickets.

You can also purchase a Tee-Shirt to help the fashion club raise money!

ROE SHAM BOE

Break from finals! Break from finals!!! Tim the RA is having a program tonight, for all those who attend you have a chance of winning either, a gift card to CVS, Applebee's, or Roggies.  All you have to do is win the Rock Paper Scissors competition. Although I would like to point out that those of us NOT from the east coast call this game Roe Sham Boe.... I don't understand why NO one here has ever heard it called that before.
Come and have fun procrastinating tonight at 9!!
I will let you know how it goes!

Do You Have Holiday Spirit?

CHRISTMAS, JUST AROUND THE CORNER

Do you like the holidays? Are you kind of sad to be away from all your school friends over the holidays, like I am? A whole month off where you don't see your roommates or hall-mates, kind of sad. Especially for me since I live on the opposite side of the United States. Here is a chance to sit down with school friends and faculty to enjoy a delicious meal. Come to the Grand Buffet! Which will be located in the Mitton House. This event is just around the corner! December third, save the date. This is a Wednesday. The Grand Buffet starts at 11:45 AM and continues till 12:45 PM.
This is unfortunately not free, for students there is a fee of only FIVE dollars, for faculty and staff there is a fee of ten dollars.

Need Something To Do?

Come to the Student Center and compete in our pool tournament! It starts at eight and it is free of charge! We all know you are already procrastinating, why not make your procrastination worthwhile? Do something productive, well maybe not productive, but entertaining with your evening tonight. From what I have heard there will be refreshments and all that jazz for everyone who choses to attend. Hey, maybe pool isn't your cup of tea... Who cares, just come and watch then! Honestly do you really have anything better to do on a Monday night besides your homework, which of course should be your number one priority.... So do that first then come!

Upcoming sports :
Mens Basketball, December 2nd, an away game at Regis College. Game starts at 7pm!
